sat kriya re-directs the sexual energy, from the lower chakras to higher chakras. the redistribution of this potent energy throughout this body is very healing and balancing. it balances the shadow aspects of an over-active sex-drive and can with help sexual phobias. it stimulates the digestive system and the glandular system, and strengthens the heart and nervous system. it’s an extremely potent exercise, and can be done on it’s own for up to 62 minutes.
sitting on the heels, interlace the fingers with the index fingers extended, women cross the left thumb over the right, men cross the right over left.
raise the arms up, rotating the upper arms inwards. this should feel snug over the ears.
begin to chant the mantra ”sat nam”, in the following way…
squeeze the lower triangle - anus, sex organs and navel on ”sat”. this is a light upward pull, the main focus is at the navel.
relax the lower muscles on ”nam” and envision the energy rising from the base of the spine, all the way up the spine.
continue for 3, to 11, to 22, to 31, to 62 minutes.
to end, inhale and hold, squeezing the lower muscles and holding the breath for as long as you can sending energy out from the fingertips. exhale, relax the lower muscles. repeat twice more
